An alternative to a

Home inspection

Save Money

It’s True. You Don’t Need a Home Inspection.

That’s right! You don’t need a home inspection to find out the condition of the house.

What is your greatest fear?

In this current market, home buyers are forgoing a home inspection because they are more afraid of loosing the house then buying a money pit. Many home buyers have regrets for not having their home inspected.

Also some home sellers are selling their home in “As Is” condition and prohibit the buyer to request a home inspection. Don’t you want to know what As Is, is?

I don’t know about you, but I would be very leery purchasing a house where the seller won’t disclose the condition of the house and then requires the buyer to forfeit a home inspection.

People don’t even buy a vehicle without first test driving it, looking under the hood and kick the tires. Why then would you spend hundreds of thousands of dollars without knowing exactly what your are really buying?

There is a solution.

To help prevent you from buying a money pit, HomeFront Inspection is proud to introduce you to a home inspection alternative called a Home Evaluation.

Do you really need to know if a door rubs the door jam, if light are not working because the bulbs are burned out? Even though these could indicate other problems with the house, a Home Evaluation will still provide you with the needed information that a home inspection would, just without all the minor details.

Our Home Evaluation is designed to inspect only the major components in the same manner as a home inspection would. We have designed a system that focuses on the Major components only.

Don’t under estimate the power of a Home Evaluation. A Home Evaluation will still provide you with the same major issues our home inspection would but without the cost.

How is a Home Evaluation different than a Home Inspection?

A Home Evaluation is not a full home inspection. A home inspection requires the inspector to follow the Standards of Practice of the InterNational Association of Certified Home Inspectors. (www.Nachi.org/sop) A home inspection will check the major components as well as hundreds of other less important items. Whereas a Home Evaluation checks only the Major components, (Roof, Heating and AC, Plumbing, Electrical, Appliances, and Structural) therefore, it can not be called a home inspection.

When it comes right down to it, only the major defects really matter. So why not get, at the minimum, the major components evaluated? At least you will know if the house is a money pit or not.

Who can benefit from a Home Evaluation?

Everyone.

  1. If you find a full home inspection isn’t within your budget
  2. You may feel the home is already in good condition but you want some peace-of-mind.
  3. The seller requires the house not be inspected
  4. The Realtor suggest you don’t need a home inspection.
  5. You don’t want a home inspection but would like someone to kick the tires so to speak.
  6. You may be trying to decide on several homes but don’t know which needs the most work. A Home Evaluation will tell you that.
